A classic Ersari rug. This piece displays a minor goose-foot gol with snowflake and cross-diamond motifs. 4X7 gol pattern of gulli guls, with an Ashik border, kilim ends, single stripe barber pole guard borders (which is an early feature), and a 3 cord selvedge. With six colors (including a teal green, a cherry to copper red field, and a slight abrasion), this rug was given a museum-quality hand wash.
