Fine Lines of brown corrosion emboss the twelve borders. Two cherry red floral meandering main borders and three S borders in abrashed blues and greens. Hooked bird heads form the S shapes. The ivory ground diamond inner border can be viewed as columns supporting the Arch. This carpet is ord, the work lustrous. The dyes are saturated. Viewing a generations-older rendition of the Kurd Sanjabi tribe helps to understand the design fertility. The colorful pleated triangle is the body of the Sanjabi fowl top half fine handle-like lines are the mother goddess. The small tree trunk shows baby bird's heads with eyes. The second pair down from the arch depicts two angled-down Sanjabi fowl beaks. Flat woven soumak ends of rosettes and Xes frame with eight glowing colors. Fine original condition.
