Collector's Notes
This antique Baluch rug was woven in the late 19th Century by the Chakhansur artisans. It features three central hexagonal curled bird head medallions that are surrounded by three alternating mirroring patterns with bird head patterns on a vibrant field. All finished with an intricately drawn meandering stripe and birds border on a saturated red and salmon background. Great floor rug or accent hanging art.

Condition: Great condition considering age with even wear to knot heads (pile). Small dog eared top right corner. Original four sides and flatwoven kilim ends intact. Fully secured.
