2'4" X 7'5" Embroidered Dark Brown Wool Table/Eating Cloth [SH-341]

Old and of fine weave (Dowry). Described as Sofreh or Dasterkhan. The squared separated by two panels are surrounded by fine woven diamond motifs of various sizes. Three checkered borders and double and triple outlining of Turkmen motifs in six colors. Fine original condition. Hand washed. For comparable see Hali #205 Autumn 2020. Dated 1928.
